Deborah Lang, ConRes, B.A., M.B.A., CHRP
Deborah Lang brings with her 20+ years of experience working in senior-level positions in the public and private sectors (post-secondary, local government, financial services and forestry sectors). She is a seasoned adult educator and organizational development consultant with direct experience leading multi-disciplinary teams through organizational transformations, including: strategy and core competency renewal; organizational design and re-structuring; competency modeling and mapping; and, design and implementation of corporate-wide learning systems including leadership and team development initiatives.
Deborah was accredited as an Insights internal practitioner in 2008 in a client organization. Over a four year period, she effectively used the Insights System to lead major organizational change initiatives and develop high-performing teams and leaders at every level in the client organization.
Inspired by the tremendous success of using the Insights System to enhance organizational effectiveness and performance, Deborah joined the Insights Team in 2014.
Using a client-centered approach, Deborah draws from her extensive business experience to develop integrated learning solutions that are strategic, creative and results-focused. Deborah’s teaching experience extends to post-secondary where she taught leadership studies to 4th year undergraduate students. She is known as a dynamic facilitator, mentor and coach who brings out the best in people so that their learning is memorable and directly applicable to everyday life and work.
Deborah holds a MBA in Executive Leadership from Royal Roads University, a BA from the University of Victoria, a Certificate in Conflict Resolution from the Justice Institute of BC, accreditation in Emotional Intelligence, and is a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP). Within the Insights Learning System, she is accredited in Insights Discovery, Insights Navigator Team Effectiveness and Insights Transformational Leadership. Deborah is committed to support the development of the next generation of leaders. Accordingly, she serves on the Advisory Council for the Human Resources Management Association as Lead of the Mentoring Portfolio
